However, in the meantime, a discussion was organized in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha on the completion of 75 years of the Constitution. After this, on Tuesday, the Modi government also introduced a bill in the Lok Sabha regarding One Nation One Election. This bill will be sent to the JPC. On the other hand, the country's Home Minister Amit Shah is also addressing the Rajya Sabha. Amit Shah said that this discussion on the Constitution will make us realize how much the country has progressed due to our Constitution. This will also reveal what kind of accidents happen when someone tries to move forward by twisting the Constitution for himself, ignoring the sentiments of the Constitution. Amit Shah said that it will be known which party has respected the Constitution when it came to power.

Our democracy has reached the depths of hell- Amit Shah

Amit Shah said that when India became independent, people all over the world thought that this country would disintegrate, it would not be able to become economically self-reliant. Today, if we look at India after 75 years, I thank Sardar Patel that due to his tireless hard work, the country stands strong in front of the world. Many countries became independent along with India but democracy did not succeed there many times, but our democracy has reached the depths of hell. The people of the country and the beauty of the constitution have also answered those who used to say that India would not be able to become economically self-reliant. Today India has become the 5th largest economy of the world and we are ahead of Britain as well.

 Constitution of India is not a copy- Amit Shah 

Amit Shah said that do not think that the Constitution of India is a copy of the constitution of the world. Yes, we have studied every constitution. It is said in the Rigveda that we should get good thoughts from every corner. We have taken goodness from everyone but have not left our traditions. If the reading glasses are foreign, then Indianness will not be seen in the Constitution. Whoever has printed the Constitution in words and left the pictures has betrayed the spirit of the Constitution. Amit Shah said that BR Ambedkar had said that no matter how good a Constitution is, it can become bad if the people who have the responsibility of running it are not good. At the same time, no matter how bad a Constitution is, it can become good if the role of the people running it is positive.

Big attack on Rahul Gandhi

Amit Shah said that the Constituent Assembly had made a provision for constitutional amendment in Article 368. Now some leaders have come who call themselves young at the age of 54. And keep roaming around saying that they will change the Constitution. There is a provision for changing the provisions of the Constitution in Article 368. BJP ruled for 16 years. It changed the Constitution 22 times in 16 years. Congress made 77 changes in its 55 years of rule. Now both BJP and Congress have made changes. Changes have been made under the constitutional process as well as by twisting it.

If we lose then blame EVMs- Amit Shah

Amit Shah said that on 18 June 1951, the Constituent Assembly amended and added 19A, which was brought to curtail freedom of expression. At that time, the PM was Jawaharlal Nehru. The 24th Constitutional Amendment was brought by PM Indira Gandhi. On 5 November 1971, the Constitution was amended and the Parliament was given the right to reduce the fundamental rights of citizens. 10 August 1975 will be mentioned in black letters in the history of the country's Constitution. The 39th Constitutional Amendment came. The Allahabad High Court declared Indira Gandhi's election invalid. After this, she banned the judicial investigation of the Prime Minister's post by amendment. The 42nd Constitutional Amendment came. In this, the tenure of Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha was increased from 5 years to 6 years so that the election is not lost. Now they say that EVM has defeated them. When they lose, they blame EVM. EVM is faulty in Maharashtra and in Jharkhand they took oath wearing new clothes. Those who question EVM should be ashamed.

During this, Home Minister Amit Shah was interrupted by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge. On this, Amit Shah said that if Kharge sahab has done it, then you will have to listen and listen with courage.

Congress did injustice to Muslim women- Amit Shah

Amit Shah said that the Modi government first made the 101st constitutional amendment under which GST was introduced. A law was brought for Kashmir to Kanyakumari and Kamakhya to Dwarka. Some members say that Narendra Modi ji opposed GST. He opposed it because you wanted to bring GST but were not guaranteeing compensation to the states. The 102nd amendment was brought for the welfare of backward castes. The 103rd amendment was brought to give 10 percent reservation to poor children. The 106th amendment was made for the Nari Shakti Amendment Act. Which gives 33 percent reservation to women in the Parliament. We ended triple talaq by bringing a law. Congress has done injustice to Muslim women by doing vote bank politics.

Congress used to keep the budget according to the British- Amit Shah

Narendra Modi government brought Indian Judicial Code and changed the law of the British and freed them from the mentality of slavery. Amit Shah targeted Congress and said that for many years you used to present the budget at 5.30 pm because at that time it was 11 o'clock on the clock of the Queen of England. After independence, for so many years, there was a habit of presenting the budget according to the clock of the British Queen. That practice was also changed by BJP and Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji.

Constitution is a matter of trust- Amit Shah

Amit Shah said that this time in the elections, Congress tried to get the mandate by waving the Constitution and lying. The Constitution is not an issue of waving, the Constitution is not an issue of misleading but the Constitution is an issue of trust and it should be respected. During the assembly elections in Maharashtra, the Constitution was distributed by the Congress, when it was opened, it was blank from inside. They used to talk about the Constitution and reservation, people understood that they roam around with a fake Constitution, so they were defeated in the elections.

Amit Shah said that I want to ask the leaders of the Congress party who invoke the Constitution, but when you implemented 35A, when did its constitution order come up for debate in the Parliament, when did it take place for voting, who passed it. You consider the party to be the property of a private family, you also consider the Constitution to be the property of a private family.

We will not allow reservation to be implemented on the basis of religion- Amit Shah

In Rajya Sabha, Home Minister Amit Shah also spoke on reservation on the basis of religion and Muslim Personal Law Board. Attacking the opposition, he said that bringing Muslim Personal Law Board after the implementation of the Constitution was the beginning of appeasement in the country. Amit Shah said that Congress called the general law a Hindu code. He further said that there will be even one MP of Bharatiya Janata Party in the Parliament, we will not allow reservation on the basis of religion to be implemented.

Congress is an anti-reservation party: Amit Shah

Amit Shah said that Congress is an anti-reservation party. In 1955, Kaka Kalelkar Commission was formed to provide reservation to OBCs. The report was not found anywhere. If the recommendations of Kaka Kalelkar Commission were accepted, Mandal Commission would not have been formed. Mandal Commission recommendations came in 1980, but it was not implemented. It was implemented when Congress was out of power in 1990.

Amit Shah said that I want to tell the people of the country that reservation on the basis of religion exists in two states of the country... which is unconstitutional. It is clearly stated in the Constitution that no reservation will be based on religion. But when Congress was in power in both the states, reservation was given on the basis of religion. They (Congress) do not want any welfare of OBCs, they want to give reservation to Muslims by increasing the limit of 50 percent.

Amit Shah also spoke on Savarkar

Amit Shah also criticized the statement made by Rahul Gandhi regarding Veer Savarkar. Amit Shah said that lies were always spread against Veer Savarkar. I cannot repeat the statement made by a Congress leader for Savarkar during the discussion in the Lok Sabha. The word Veer in front of his name has not been given by any government or any party. Veer in front of his name has been given by 140 crore people due to his bravery. Such statements are given in the biggest panchayat of the country for such a patriot. Lies have been spread in this regard for many years. In the freedom struggle from 1857 to 1947, if any person has been given two life imprisonments in one life, then it is Veer Savarkar. If anyone had the courage to break the toilet and jump into the river to get freedom for the country, then it was Veer Savarkar, two brothers were serving the sentence of Kala Pani in the same jail. The brothers did not see each other for 10 years, the country has never seen such a brave family again. 

Congress raised 370 like an illegitimate child- Amit Shah

Amit Shah said that for 70 years, the Congress nurtured Article 370 of the Constitution like an illegitimate child. When Modi ji became PM again in 2019, Article 370 was abolished in one stroke in this very House. These people used to say that if Article 370 is removed, rivers of blood will flow, but today no one has the courage to even throw a pebble.
