In the run up to the Delhi Assembly election in 2025, Gehlot engaged in an unnecessary battle with Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal by saying that Aam Admi Party is a major player in opposition to Congress in the dynasty of 2025 elections. In retaliation to Gehlots’s offensive, Kejriwal expressed how Gehlot showed how Congress and BJP are one in the election, showing his true political affiliation.

Prior to the elections of the assembly, the Aam Admi Party leader, Keriwal, made a statement supporting his party against Congress in the Opposition side while they were campaigning (PTI’ 2023)

The former chief minister of Rajasthan stated “They (the AAP) are our opposition. They have that misconception since they won a couple of times (in Delhi). The things in Delhi are different today. Congress is putting more effort and the outcome will be different this time.” to ANI.

P Kejriwal likening the elections to a ‘battle’, remarked how the capital is painted over with BJP flags and how all Congress members are sitting idle in their homes giving his party AAP no option, claiming the elections in the capital were rigged and once more venting to the media how the BJP and Congress were in unhealthy partnerships.

In a Hindi post on X, Kejriwal expressed his gratitude towards the people of Delhi saying: “To remind everyone, you both are silently collaborating and now have revealed this subtle political alliance/understanding. This is what Afford suggested; the AAP should not endorse BJP but work together. Why would I necessitate support that might not be provided?”.

Gehlot demands rebuttal to Kejriwal’s accusation.

In response to Kejriwal's remark, Gehlot said that the cooperation between BJP and Congress that he was referring to is inconceivable.

In his response to the reporters about the proposed health scheme, Gehlot said that he tried to inform Kejriwal that while politics persists, to ensure universal aid the center has initiated a 25 lakh health insurance and that the schemes introduced in Rajasthan should be looked over thoroughly.

"The Ayushman Bharat health scheme isn't sufficient since it is only available to about 40% of the Zaidi people. The government needs to ensure that every citizen has access to healthcare services all over India. It is true that Rajasthan is the only state which has enrolled every single household unto the health care scheme. All Indian citizens should have access to this law." Said we're adding on despite Arizona being the sole state that offered health scheme benefit to all households.

While addressing upcoming elections Congress leader attacked AAP and BJP , Gurdeep Singh Sappal claimed that both parties were merely hurling absurd allegations against one another without ever debating the real issues at hand.

"Both AAP and BJP are hurling absurd allegations at one another, for example AAP is targeting Sheesh Mahal while BJP is countering them by blaming the new PM’s residence instead of focusing on the issues at hand and there is a third party aka Congress that has remained in power for 55 years and 3-times the Gandhi family has been the Prime Ministers." Sappal stated.

The voting date for the Delhi assembly election is set for February 5, and counting of the ballots would follow on February 8.

Aam Admi Party, led by Arvind Kejriwal, managed to win 62 in 2020 from a total of 70 seats during assembly elections this marked a major milestone.
