Jammu: Chandra Mohan Sharma, who was contesting the election as a rebel, returned to the BJP on Saturday. He took the party membership in the presence of BJP national president Jagat Prakash Nadda. Party national general secretary and Jammu and Kashmir in-charge Tarun Chugh and BJP spokesperson and media center in-charge Arun Gupta were also present on this occasion.

He said that everyone wants to join the revolutionary achievements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for Jammu and Kashmir and wants to bring prosperity here by keeping Jammu and Kashmir on the path of peace and development.

Nadda, who arrived in Jammu to campaign for party candidates in the assembly elections, said, "Voting in the first two phases was conducted peacefully. Unlike the previous elections, this time there was no violence, no firing, and no terrorist attack.
