New Delhi: Approaching the Delhi elections that is scheduled for scarcely a month, both the Congress and AAP are inviting voters promises of various welfare schemes. Delhi also saw the release of A Bharatiya Janata Party manifesto on Thursday which promised a scheme of \$30 a month for women, specifically targeting the warm ambassadors of the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) over its Mahila Samman Yojana.

BJP seemed to leave out the Aam Aadmi Party targets issue aside and instead declared monthly aid for elderly and pregnant women legions across India. "We will extend this Ĺ500 pension scheme that to only people age 60 and above only, `to old bettiah Rs 2500 and above Rs 3000 for Older Widows, Armless and Old Class Ladies 70 and more women," said the president of Bharat’s none other than Mr. JP Nadda.

Moreover, he also added that poor women in particular will be able to buy LPG cylinders at a rate of $500 or for free during Holi and Diwali.

In an effort to regain power in Delhi after a 15 year hiatus, the Congress launched their power campaign in September 2022 with the intent of winning the February 5 elections. Alongside the launch of their campaign, the party also released a document consisting of five guarantees that they ‘will deliver’ if they come into power, this was stated by Minister Revanth Reddy during the manifesto launch, which took place on Thursday. Furthermore, the party intends to create a new initiative called ‘Pyaari Didi Yojana,’ which will be set in place if they are voted into power, under which women will be provided with a monthly aid of Rs 2500.

BJP Promises Monthly Payments For Ladies

Seeing that the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has a concrete support base, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has now decided to offer women a similar financial scheme that has already been implemented in multiple other states where the AAP isn’t in rule. Prior sources suggested that the BJP plans on offering Rs 2500 to women, a move that has already been witnessed in states like Punjab under the ‘Ladli Behna Yojana’ as well as ‘Ladki Bahin Yojana’ in Maharashtra.

Similar to the AAP, the BJP stated that any welfare measures that have already been executed in Delhi, won’t be removed and will simply be bolstered instead.

AAP's Manifesto promises To Deliver 8-10 Poll Talks

In order to increase their votes, AAP has once again decided to provide more free benefits that includes free electricity, tirth yatra along with free bus rides for women, taking the total number of election promises to 8-10. All of these elections promises are expected to attract a substantial number of voters and are assesed to greatly aid the AAP adminsitration in infrastructural advancement.

The Mahila Samman Yojana and the Sanjeevani Yojana are among the few key aspects of AAP's strategy. Recently, the party made a promise that, if given mandated again, They would increase the monthly financial aid by 31%.

Apart from that, AAP has made promises to provide free health facilities for elderlies, monthly payment of INR 18000 to temple priests alongside gurudwara granthis, as well as free water for those who share Ambe understanding of social issues.

Congress Manifesto includes provisions for LPG Gas at Rs 500 and Fre Ration Kits.

Rs 8500 help for education unemployed youth all over the country monthly. If the polls go well then the left over amount will be provided. On 6th January involved in several other schemes Congress has also planned Pyaari Didi Yojana where every woman will be provided with a monthly financial assistance of Rs 2500. On the 8th of January an announcement was made about Jeevan Raksha Yojana - free ration kit worth Rs 25 lakh.
