A dispute was seen on the stage today between PMK founder Dr. S Ramadoss and his son Ambumani Ramadoss. In fact, the differences between father and son were seen publicly in the party's general council meeting in Viziapuram, Tamil Nadu on Saturday. Actually, this dispute started when Ramadoss announced the name of his grandson P. Mukundan for the post of president of the party's youth wing, then Ambumani objected to this and said from the stage that he had joined the party only four months ago. In response to this, Ramadoss said that he had started the Vanniyar Sangam and the party and those who are not interested in remaining in PMK are free to leave the party.

Ramdas said that Mukundan would help Anbumani and the party win 50 seats in the 2026 assembly elections. Although Ramdas called his elder daughter Gandhimathi's son Mukundan on the stage during this time, he did not come. Anbumani argued that Mukundan had joined the party only a few months ago and did not have enough experience to become the leader of the youth wing. He said that a talented and experienced person should be appointed to this post. The dispute between father and son on the stage has now become a topic of discussion.
