Using a smartphone without apps would be like using a feature phone. However, we also install many such dangerous apps in our smartphone knowingly or unknowingly, due to which we may have to suffer huge losses. In recent times, incidents of cyber crime have increased manifold. The main reason for this is the access of our personal information to cyber criminals. Many apps contain malware, which can steal your personal information and even bank details from your smartphone.

According to a recent report, many such loan apps have been removed from Google Play Store. These loan apps were downloaded by millions of users knowingly or unknowingly. These apps present on Google Play Store were stealing personal information of users such as name, address, phone number and bank details etc. Apart from this, malware has also been found in many photo editing apps, using which hackers were cheating people.

Delete these apps immediately

If you have installed any third party apps on your phone, delete them immediately. Third party apps bypass the security of Google Play Store, due to which your sensitive information can reach hackers. Third party apps are those apps which you have not downloaded from Google Play Store. Users download these apps from any website, APK link, WhatsApp or link received on message.

To install such apps on the phone, the feature of Unknown Source App Installation has to be enabled. Many users enable this feature by mistake so that they can download the apps of their choice on the phone. In such a case, a kind of shield on your phone breaks and there is a risk of the phone being hacked.

don't make this mistake

Many companies take your personal information such as Aadhaar card, PAN card, address etc. in the name of instant loan. Do not install such instant loan apps in your phone even by mistake. Your personal information can fall into the hands of hackers in this way.

Apart from this, do not give permission to any app to access microphone, photos, files, SMS, location, calls etc. in the phone. By doing this, these apps will keep stealing your personal information in the background and will keep sending it to hackers. In this way, you can be defrauded.
