Facebook parent Meta's Chief Financial Officer Susan Li said that India has become its largest market for Meta Al usage.

"People have used Meta Al for billions of queries since we first introduced it. We are seeing particularly promising signs on WhatsApp in terms of retention and engagement," said Li, during the second quarter earnings call.

The social media company launched its artificial intelligence (AI) assistant-Meta Al-in India on WhatsApp, Facebook, Messenger, and Instagram, in June this year.

Meta Al is on track to achieve the company's goal of becoming the "most used Al assistant" by the end of the year, according to Meta Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Mark Zuckerberg.
