Kota: In a press interaction on Saturday, Rajasthan Education minister, Madan Dilawar attributed love affairs to some of the students that may have caused the student suicides in kota. He requested the parents to remain vigilant and not to exert too much of pressure on their wards. As per the report from PTI, Kota, which is popular for coaching institutes has been reported four student suicides this year after seventeen last year in 2024.

As Dilawar also attends to Panchayati Raj, he remarked on the grim incident that happened in Kota after attending a function in Bundi where SVAMITVA land ownership cards were given out. In Dilawars words, He urged parents to keep themselves informed and mindful considering the dangers posed. His statement defined the weight of the issues in regard to parents getting involved when children, particularly those interested in strengthening their careers get closer to depression and suicide due to the ill effects regulators create when enforcing academic achievement.

Peer pressure, love affairs cited as factors

Commenting on the academic ranking of students and love relationships might have contributed to their mental health, he stated, although certain coaching centers may have a very little effect. He noted that in some cases such suicides can be associated with love affairs. In his conclusion, Dilawar said that parents should be more careful about the normal activities of their children and their daily schedule in order to prevent them from going astray.
