From the oath taking of the Chief Minister and the cabinet to the distribution of ministries, the BJP had a great say. When the decision was taken to make Devendra Fadnavis the CM, it was decided that the BJP will keep the Home Ministry with itself. In fact, the kind of politics done by Deputy CM Eknath Shinde and his party after the meeting with the BJP central leadership sent a wrong message. When Shinde broke the Shiv Sena and formed the government, the BJP also faced similar circumstances. Two-time CM Fadnavis had to become the Deputy CM but after winning 132 seats, the BJP emerged stronger and Devendra Fadnavis became the CM for the third time.
