Wednesday in Andhra Pradesh’s Visakhapatnam saw PM Modi commence a jaw-dropping roadshow. He also during his visit to the city launched projects which were amounting to a whopping 2 lakh crores and also laid the foundation stone for them.

PM Modi along with the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, N Chandrababu Naidu, and his deputy, Pawan Kalyan, held a roadshow. The roadshow initiated from the Sampath Vinayak temple to the engineering college ground of Andhra University. They all decided to travel via open vehicles and as a courtesy waved back to the people who showered them flowers, they did also receive a huge turnout. As for the news by PTI, the TDP, BJP, and Jana Sena party flags decorated the surroundings of the whole area, if filled with them was not enough, a plethora of supporters from the parties presented themselves as well.

Projects involving the rail and road sector were also given to him by the nation.

‘Andhra Pradesh must work to boost new advancements in technology in the times to come’- PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a rally and said, “Our Andhra Pradesh is a state of possibilities and opportunities. When these possibilities are realised, then only Andhra will develop and India will be a developed country. So, Andhra Pradesh’s growth is our objective and we are committed to this objective in serving the people of Andhra Pradesh.”

Speaking about the efforts of the government in Andhra under the Telugu Desam Party, he said, “Andhra Pradesh has an aim of being a 2.5 trillion dollar economy by the year 2047. To make that possible, the Chief Minister Mr. Chandrababu Naidu has initiated the programme ‘Swarna Andhra @ 2047’…. In this, the NDA central government is also supporting the Andhra Pradesh government at the same time.”

During the event, PM Modi stated that, “It is the time for Andhra to become hub of new futuristic technologies,”

Further he added, “Visakhapatnam will be one of the few places around the globe that will possess high scale plants that will produce green hydrogen. This hub of green hydrogen will generate a large number of employment opportunities. It will help in building up a strong manufacturing base in Andhra Pradesh.”

I was able to start building the Bulk Drug Park on Nakkapalli and laid its foundation stone. Such parks are being established in only 3 states still in the country and Andhra Pradesh is one...Urbanization is however viewed by our government as a challenge, and the challenge we set for ourselves is turning Andhra Pradesh into a case study in urbanization of the new kind. In order to achieve this, today the centre of the Krishna Industrial area has been started,” PM Modi added.

During the rally, Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu appreciated the leadership shown by PM Modi and said,” I am always getting some inspiration from you and I am learning so many lessons from you… I am very happy! Till yesterday Amravathi was not in the right place now sir you have to come sometime where you laid the foundation now the blessings are coming and we are completing finally one of the best cities as you dreamt.
