Stock Market Update: The Indian stock market did not like the decision taken by the US Fed Reserve. Its effect was seen in the US market as well as the domestic stock market. After the Fed Reserve indicated a lesser cut in interest rates next year, markets across the world witnessed a decline. After this, the Sensex and Nifty broke in early trade this morning. The BSE Sensex fell by more than 1100 points in early trade to 79,029.08 points. At the same time, the NSE Nifty slipped 328.55 points to 23,870.30 points. Due to this, investors have suffered a loss of 6 lakh crores in the first few minutes.

All companies listed on BSE declined

Shares of all 30 companies listed on the Sensex were in loss. Shares of Infosys, State Bank of India, Tata Steel, Asian Paints, JSW Steel, Bajaj Finserv, Bajaj Finance and Mahindra & Mahindra fell the most. In the Asian market, South Korea's Kospi, Hong Kong's Hang Seng, China's Shanghai Composite and Japan's Nikkei were in loss. US markets closed with a negative trend on Wednesday. International standard Brent crude fell by 0.40 percent to $ 73.10 per barrel.

According to the stock market data, foreign institutional investors (FIIs) were the main sellers on Wednesday. They sold shares worth Rs 1317 crore net. However, after the initial decline
, a recovery was seen in the Sensex and Nifty in the first hour of the trading session. At around 10.40 am, the Sensex was seen at 79,326 points with a decline of 861 points. Similarly, the Nifty index was seen at 23,960 points with a decline of 238 points.

Loss of 13 lakh crores in four days
In the initial trading session itself, the total market cap of the companies listed on BSE fell from Rs 452.6 lakh crore to around Rs 446.5 lakh crore. Due to this, the investors suffered a loss of around Rs 6 lakh crore in just a few minutes of Thursday's trading. Investors have suffered a loss of around Rs 13 lakh crore in the last four days. Earlier, the total market cap of the companies listed on BSE was around Rs 459.4 lakh crore on 13 December.
