On this matter, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju in the Rajya Sabha accused Rahul Gandhi of pushing BJP MPs and said that Parliament is not a wrestling arena. Rahul Gandhi and the entire Congress party should apologize for their behavior not only to the Upper House but to the entire country.

Kiren Rijiju said- we are not going to be afraid

During the proceedings of Rajya Sabha which resumed at 2 pm, Kiren Rijiju said that Rahul Gandhi pushed a female BJP MP during a protest in Lok Sabha. He said that Rahul Gandhi pushed two BJP MPs so hard that they got injured and started bleeding. They have been admitted to the hospital. He said, 'This behavior of the Congress party is so shameful that we cannot even believe it. We have the numbers (in Parliament), we are not going to be afraid. We do not want to lower the level of Parliament so much by scuffles or fighting.'

'Rahul Gandhi should apologize to the country'

He said, 'The way Rahul Gandhi has hit two MPs, our MPs are very angry about it. What would have happened if we had also raised our hands. We have the strength of numbers, we are not cowards. If our people also start raising their hands on Rahul Gandhi, then how will democracy run. Therefore, Rahul Gandhi and the entire Congress party should apologize not only to the House but to the entire country.'
