The Oracle of Omaha has finally spoken. At 94, Buffett is the first to admit that it’s about time he finds a successor to Berkshire Hathaway, the conglomerate that still embodies his investment prowess, as he has recently confirmed to the Wall Street Journal.  

The crown has been handed to Howard Graham Buffet, a prominent figure in American investment, more simply referred to as Howie Buffet. In a statement reported by the Wall Street Journal, Howie will take over as non-executive chairman of Warren Buffett’s 1 trillion dollar value Berkshire Hathaway company. Warren Buffet seems to be able to remain as one his characteristically non-committal and vague self for this period because he intends to take his time in appointing a successor party to any such offer that gets presented.

What will happen to Warren Buffet’s money after his passing?

Warren Buffet’s eldest son Howard Graham Buffet once mentioned in a Wall Street Journal interview that Warren Buffet had already prepared him to inherit his immense fortune and wealth which is equivalent to billions. Howard is set to inherit the fortune of his father due to the fact that Howard has always tried making Warren Buffet proud for all his life so Buffet mentioned “I’m very, very, very lucky in the fact that I trust all three of my children."  Therein he explains that each and every child has their own unique skill set making Howard step up and take charge.

In an interview with Howard Buffet, he mentioned that he grew up with Warren always guiding him and in succession wanted to know how he could make Buffet proud. Buffet directed him by explaining that children should always seek advice from their parents, and children are meant to listen and command respect.

Starting in 1993, Howie began serving on the boards of prominent companies like Coca-Cola Enterprises, Lindsay Corporation, Sloan Implement, and ConAgra Foods in addition to Berkshire. He has also acted as the Macon County sheriff in Illinois within the United States. Warren’s other child from his first marriage with Devon Morse is called Howard Graham Buffet.
