Apple has finally introduced the first-ever, long-requested Calculator app for iPads at WWDC 2024.

Although the app looks similar to the calculator app from the iPhone, it also supports Apple Pencil, allowing you to write down math problems and the app will solve them with a feature called Math Notes.

Notably, The app, which comes with the iPadOS 18 update, calculates in real time.

Apple has added a wide range of new features, such as Smart Script, which improves the iPad's handwriting recognition, and newly introduced home screen customization features.

The new iPad calculator app has gained significant traction in the technology world, including praise from Paytm CEO Vijay Shekhar Sharma.

"When making a calculator, make it like no other. Take a bow Apple," Sharma wrote on X.
