Senior Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut made a big claim on Saturday. He said that Janata Dal-United (JDU) led by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar may break away from the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) at the Centre. He made this statement while claiming that BJP is trying to bring 10 MPs of JDU to its side.
Sanjay Raut alleged that the BJP is betraying its ally JDU in Bihar. He said, "The BJP has started a conspiracy to break 10 JDU MPs in Bihar, due to which Nitish Kumar is feeling uncomfortable. I doubt whether he will remain in the NDA or not."
What did he say about Bihar elections?
The Shiv Sena (UBT) Rajya Sabha MP further said that JDU is unlikely to contest the Bihar assembly elections in 2025 as a constituent party of the NDA. He says that the position of Nitish Kumar's party has become unstable due to BJP's attempt to break JDU MPs. Let us tell you that currently JDU has 12 MPs in the Lok Sabha, which is important for the survival of the NDA government at the Center, because BJP is not in majority on its own in the lower house of Parliament i.e. Lok Sabha.
Big claim about Modi 3.0 tenure
Earlier, Sanjay Raut claimed in a statement on Thursday that he doubts whether the central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be able to remain in power till 2026. Raut said that if the Modi government fails to complete its term, it will lead to political change not only in Maharashtra but also in other states of the country.
