According to a Digitimes report, phase production of the iPhone 17 Air has started at Foxconn. The company may soon start its mass production. In the NPI i.e. New Production Phase, Apple and its suppliers will work together for design and manufacturing process. After this, preparations will be made for prototype testing, supplier qualification, manufacturing process development.

According to earlier leaked reports about iPhone 17 Air, this iPhone of Apple can be launched with a speaker, e-SIM support, 48MP single camera and in-house 5G model. The company will not use physical SIM card to make it thinner. However, due to this it can be banned in China.

Foldable iPhone and iPad

Talking about Apple's foldable device, the company can launch its first foldable iPhone in 2026. At the same time, the foldable iPad can be launched commercially in 2028.
