Former Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Atishi has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of misleading the public regarding the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) report. Addressing a press conference on Sunday, she clarified that she had already sent the CAG reports to the Delhi Assembly Speaker before the elections.

Atishi: BJP Creating False Narrative on CAG Report

Atishi stated:

“As Chief Minister, I had sent the CAG reports to the Speaker of the Delhi Assembly before the elections in a sealed envelope. These reports were always meant to be presented in the House during the first session.”

She dismissed BJP’s claims that they had made the decision to present the CAG report, calling it "completely false."

“We firmly believe that whatever is in the CAG report should be presented before the people of Delhi,” she asserted.

After returning to power in Delhi after 27 years, the BJP government is set to present the CAG report on February 25 during the first session of the Delhi Assembly.
