
New Delhi: There have been threats of bombing 85 planes in the country simultaneously. Once again, an attempt has been made to target the flights of Air India and Akash Air. The bomb threat includes 20 flights of Air India and 25 flights of Akash Air. After receiving the threat, the planes have been ordered to make an emergency landing. The route of some flights has been changed. Along with this, the security agencies have also started investigating the matter. Passengers are scared of the threats being received every day. People are avoiding air travel. The air business is being affected due to the threats.
Received threats earlier too
Before this, 19 October was a very chaotic day. On this day, more than 20 flights received bomb threats. These flights were of Air India, Indigo, Akash Air, Vistara, SpiceJet, Star Air, and Alliance Air. These included Indigo's flights from Delhi and Mumbai to Istanbul and Jodhpur to Delhi and Vistara's flights from Udaipur to Mumbai.
Airlines shocked by fake bomb threats
The Indian airline industry is yet to recover from the shock of receiving 90 fake bomb threats in a week. On the other hand, the authorities are still to find out the source and motive behind the increase in fake bomb threats.
Due to this, dozens of planes had to change their route. These threats spread panic among international passengers, planes had to be landed or their routes changed. During the investigation, it was found that some of the IP addresses making threats are from America, while some are from Britain and some are from Austria. The airline is also suffering huge losses.
