Lord Rama returned from exile on the day of Amavasya in Kartik month. Hindus celebrate Diwali on this day. Now pay attention to the date, this time Amavasya Tithi will start from 3:52 pm on October 31. This Tithi will remain till 6:16 pm on the next day i.e. November 1, so Diwali will be celebrated on the night of October 31. Diwali Puja is done after Pradosh Kaal. This time Laxmi Pujan, Kali Pujan, and Nishith Kaal Puja will be done on the night of October 31. Midnight Puja will also be done on October 31. However, some rituals related to Amavasya will be done on November 1. It would be appropriate to do charity and Pitra Karma on the morning of November 1.
