To prevent public nuisance, the police have banned group movements of two-wheelers and other vehicles on streets and public spaces if they disturb peace, cause inconvenience, or endanger public safety.

The restrictions will be in effect from:
6 PM on March 13 (Wednesday) to 6 AM on March 15 (Saturday)

Increased Police Deployment for Safety

To ensure a peaceful Holi, additional police personnel will be deployed across the city, especially at:
Major traffic junctions
Residential neighborhoods
Public gathering spaces

Liquor Shops to Remain Closed on Holi

As part of the precautionary measures, liquor shops in Hyderabad, Cyberabad, and Rachakonda commissionerates will be shut from:

  • Bars in restaurants

Exceptions:


Bars in star hotels and registered clubs under the Rachakonda police commissionerate will be allowed to operate as usual.
