Your dream of working in Indian Railways can now be fulfilled. Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the notification for recruitment to various Group D posts. Candidates who want to apply can do so from 23 January 2025. Remember that the link to apply online will be available on the official website of RRB. A total of 32, 438 vacancies will be recruited for Group D posts under Level 1. 

Remember that the candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in Computer Based Test, Physical Test and Medical/Document Verification. Candidates who qualify for CBT will be called for the next process. Eligibility and other details for recruitment can be seen below.

RRB Group D Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Qualification

Candidates applying for these posts should have a class 10 pass mark sheet. Also, it is necessary to have a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) obtained from NCVT.

Age Limit

The age of the candidates applying for these posts should be between 18 to 26 years as on 1 July 2025. Also, candidates of reserved category will get relaxation in this as per the rules.

Application Fees

General, OBC, EWS: Rs 500

SC, ST, PH: Rs 250
For Women: Rs 250

Application fees will be accepted online only, which can be paid through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking/UPI/ fee payment mode. This fee will also be refunded after the written exam, in which General category will get Rs 400, OBC, EWS, SC, ST, PH will get Rs 250 and women will get full refund.
