New Delhi: JEE Main 2025 is just a week away and candidates planning to take the Paper across the nation are in the final moves of their preparations. This engagement period can have most of the significance in arriving at the expected performance during the exam. In these last 7 days, efforts made towards strategy, revision and the mental ability need to be maximised through a comprehensive approach.

The engineering entrance exam requires knowledge, time management and endurance. Candidates must use the 7 day window leading up to the exam to its fullest. With the correct strategy and attitude, the goal marks can be achieved.

Strategically Revisit the Material Cover

In the last week, emphasis should be placed on reviewing the essential ideas and equations. There is no point in shifting concentration to new themes; instead, aim to be strong in a limited number of already known ones. The time has to be judiciously assigned to cover Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, as they have to be covered as per the requirement.

Complete Mock Tests And Past Papers

Many mock tests and past papers needs to be drafted at this particular stage of preparation as they will help the candidates become more acquainted with the format of the paper , enable them management of the time that is allocated to each section of the paper and the areas of concern or weak topics that need to be worked on. For this, one mock test should be drafted a day and the performance evaluated after taking the test.

Weightage Based Approach

The weightage percentage of the given question also gives a clue or guides to the amount of time that needs to be allocated to that particular topic that is being covered. For Physics: mechanics, thermodynamics, and optics should be worked upon. For Chemistry, getting adept in organic reactions, periodic table and chemical bonding should be the focus. The subjects that would cover Mathematics include topics like calculus, coordinate geometry and algebra.

Do Not Multi-task

There will be a strong urge to study for longer periods of time in this last week however this can be counterproductive as it will result in burnout from over exposure, Post this phase, following a properly structured timetable with breaks ,maintaining a healthy diet and sleeping sufficiently will enable candidates to ensure that they are able to complete the exam without any issues
