In such a situation, schools also declare winter vacations in view of the health of children. Earlier, winter holidays were already announced in Delhi, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir. Recently, the Rajasthan government has announced winter vacations in schools from December 25 and now winter vacations have also been announced in Haryana, a state adjacent to Delhi.
Since when are schools being closed?
The Haryana government has announced that winter vacations for children will begin in January. Giving information, the Haryana Education Department has announced that winter vacations will begin in all government, recognized and aided schools in the state from January 1, which will continue uninterrupted till January 15. After this, schools will reopen on January 16.
The Haryana Education Department wrote in a post on X, “Haryana Education Department has issued orders that all schools in the state will have winter vacations from January 1 to January 15. The schools will reopen on January 16, 2025.”
There was a change in the past
Let us inform you that earlier in November, the School Education Department had revised the school timings for both single-shift and double-shift schools for the winter session starting from the 2024-25 academic session. As per the changes made in school timings, single-shift schools will run from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm in winter. In the case of double-shift schools, the first shift will run from 7:55 am to 12:30 pm and the second shift will run from 12:40 pm to 5:15 pm.
