According to the passengers, their boat journey started between 3.30-4.00 pm and about 10 kilometers ahead of the coast, a speed boat of the Navy was seen coming fast. It started circling our boat. The passengers got scared, it seemed that something was about to happen. Then the speed boat of the Navy hit the Neelkamal.

Everyone started wearing life jackets but there was no life jacket for everyone. According to the rules, everyone should have worn life jackets while boarding the boat but this was not done. There were 110 people on the boat and less jackets, this secret was revealed only when the accident happened. After this, everything was left to God. Suddenly there was chaos.
Rescue operation was started in a hurry with the help of Navy, JNPT, Coast Guard, Police and local fishermen's boats, 101 passengers were rescued. 13 people including three naval personnel lost their lives. The 101 rescued passengers are being treated in different hospitals. There is chaos in the homes of those who lost their lives. According to a passenger, at first it seemed that the naval personnel had gone out for fun.
Navy boat captain lost control
The Navy says that during the inspection in Mumbai Harbor, the Indian Navy's speed boat developed an engine problem due to which it lost control. It collided with the passenger boat Neelkamal and this accident happened in which 13 people including 3 naval soldiers died. 101 people have been rescued, out of which five are in critical condition. The Navy has posted X and told that the Navy ship was on engine trial, the captain lost control over it and this collision happened. Four Navy helicopters, 11 Navy ships, one Coast Guard boat and three Marine Police boat rescue carried out the rescue. Passengers say that they got help after about half an hour.
