Wayanad/New Delhi. CPI(M) leader A Vijayraghavan, an ally of the Congress Party in the opposition coalition India, has launched a major attack on Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi. He has said that Muslim communal forces have played a major role in Rahul and Priyanka's victory in Wayanad. Vijayraghavan said that if the Muslim communal forces had not united, then Rahul Gandhi would not have won Wayanad.

It was not possible to reach Delhi

The CPI (M) leader said in a public meeting that two people - Rahul and Priyanka - have been elected from Wayanad. With whose support have they reached the Lok Sabha? They have reached Delhi with the support of a strong communal Muslim alliance. If they had not got the support of Muslim communal forces, then it would not have been possible for them to reach Delhi. Today they have become the leader of the opposition.

Who were the people in front and behind?

Vijayraghavan further said that during the elections, when Priyanka Gandhi was conducting rallies and road shows, who were the people in front and behind her? They were the most extremist people in the Muslim community who supported the Congress leadership. Let us tell you that Vijayraghavan had addressed the party conference in Bathery, Wayanad on 21 December. During that time, he had targeted the Congress.

Both Rahul and Priyanka won.

Let us tell you that both Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi have won the Wayanad Lok Sabha seat. Rahul was an MP from here from 2019 to 2024. After this, after winning the 2024 elections from Wayanad and Rae Bareli, he kept the UP Lok Sabha seat with him. After this, a Lok Sabha by-election was held on the vacant Wayanad seat, in which Rahul's sister Priyanka Gandhi was made the candidate by the Congress. Priyanka won the by-election by more than 4 lakh votes.
