Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) has now announced the introduction of negative marking process in REET 2024 exam. The board has also made many other changes in the REET exam along with the new OMR rule. Announcing the marking for the exam, the board said that the REET 2025 question will have 5 options instead of 4. Rajasthan Board has said that as per the new OMR rule of REET, a scheme of negative marking for wrong answers has also been introduced.

Changes in question options as well

Rajasthan Board has said that according to the new OMR rule of REET, now there will be 5 options instead of 4 for a question. Along with this, a scheme of negative marking has also been started for wrong answers. In such a situation, if a candidate gives a wrong answer or does not choose any answer out of 5 options, then he will be given negative marks. The board further said that ⅓ marks will be deducted from some marks for every wrong answer.

Exams will be conducted at two levels

Let us inform you that the REET exam will be conducted for two levels - the first for those who want to become teachers for classes 1 to 5 and the second level for those who want to become teachers to teach children from class 6 to class 8. Let us inform you that according to the schedule, the REET exam will be conducted on February 27. The registration process for the exam will end on January 15.

Several meetings were held

The board is holding several meetings to ensure the transparent and smooth conduct of these exams. Earlier, the board had announced that the REET application fee for both the levels will remain the same as in previous years. That is, those applying for one paper will have to pay Rs 550 and those registering for both REET Level 1 and 2 will have to pay Rs 750.
