Odisha Sub-ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) has started the registration process for recruitment to various teaching posts. Candidates interested to become teachers can apply through the official website ossc.gov.in. A total of 2,696 vacancies will be filled in various departments through this recruitment process. Candidates are advised to submit their application forms before the application window closes. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their application forms till January 31. However, the registration window will remain open till January 22, 2025. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility, qualification, age limit, salary before submitting the application form.

OSSSC TGT Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria

TGT (Arts):  B.Ed./Sanskrit degree or Graduation in Arts or Commerce with minimum 50 per cent marks in aggregate from a recognised university. 3-year integrated B.Ed./M.Ed. from an NCTE-recognised institution or four-year integrated B.A. B.Ed. programme with minimum 50 per cent marks in aggregate.

TGT (Science): Graduate in Science with minimum 50% marks from a recognized University, B.Tech/B.E. and Bachelor's degree in Education OR 

Three-year integrated B.Ed. M.Ed. programme from an NCTE-recognized institution.

Hindi Teacher: Graduation with at least 50 per cent marks in Hindi as one of the optional, elective, pass or honours subjects.

Sanskrit Teacher: Graduate with Shiksha Shastri (Sanskrit) from a recognized University and have passed Sanskrit as one of the elective, optional, honours or passed subjects from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks.

Physical Education Teacher: Candidate must have passed 12th or its equivalent examination from a recognized board or university or must have done C.P.Ed., B.P.Ed. or M.P.Ed.

Teacher (Telugu): Bachelor of Arts with Telugu subject from a University/Institute recognized by NCTE and must have Telugu B.Ed. with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.

Urdu Teacher: Candidate must have Alim/Fazil and B.Ed/Urdu B.Ed with 50% marks from NCTE OR BA (Persian) and B.Ed Urdu/B.Ed with 50% marks from NCTE.
