State Bank of India has released a notice regarding SBI Clerk Recruitment 2024. SBI has released an important notice on the change in cut off dates. Candidates can check it by visiting the official website sbi.co.in. Cut off dates have been changed for ex-servicemen. The official notice reads, "In reference to the above advertisement, it has been decided by the competent authority to amend the cutoff dates in respect of candidates who are still serving in the Armed Forces and are willing to apply for the post of Junior Associates in accordance with the guidelines of the Government of India." 

As per the revised guidelines, candidates who are still serving in the Armed Forces and are willing to apply under the Ex-Servicemen category will have to submit a certificate (Proforma 'B') from the competent authority indicating the date of completion of their Specific Period of Service (SPE) along with a declaration (Proforma 'C'). Candidates whose SPE has been completed on or before 31.01.2026 are only eligible to apply under this recruitment. They will also have to submit a release letter along with a self-declaration at the time of joining the bank that they are entitled to the benefits available to ex-servicemen as per Government of India rules.

Further, candidates who have completed their initial period and are on extended assignment are required to submit certificates as per Proforma 'D'. If selected, such candidates mentioned in (ii) & (iii) above should be relieved and join the Bank on or before 31.03.2026. These certificates are mandatorily required to be submitted at the time of joining.
