New Delhi: The Delhi High Court will hear petitions regarding the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2025 on April 7, following concerns over errors in the final answer key. The court has directed the CLAT Consortium’s counsel to submit a response within two weeks, after which a decision will be made on whether the CLAT 2025 results need to be revised.

To prevent conflicting judgments from different courts, the Supreme Court has ordered that all petitions related to CLAT 2025 be transferred to the Delhi High Court.

Why Are CLAT 2025 Results Under Review?

The CLAT 2025 results are being reviewed due to errors in the final answer key. The Delhi High Court intervened on December 20, asking the Consortium of NLUs to correct mistakes in the CLAT results.

Key Issues:

  • Errors were found in two questions (Question 14 and Question 100) in Set A of the exam.
  • Correction made:
    • Answer to Question 14 was changed to Option C.
    • Question 100 was removed from evaluation.
  • The court emphasized that ignoring such mistakes would be unfair to students.

Petitioners Demand More Revisions in CLAT 2025 Results

A petitioner has challenged the court’s ruling, arguing that his other objections were unfairly dismissed.

Petitioner’s Claims:

  • While the court accepted errors in two questions, it dismissed three other objections.
  • The petitioner insists that Questions 37, 67, and 68 (Set A) also contain errors and must be corrected.
  • He has requested further modifications to the CLAT 2025 final answer key and results.

CLAT Consortium’s Response & Supreme Court Appeal

  • The Consortium of NLUs maintains that experts thoroughly reviewed the final answer key before its publication.
  • Following the Delhi High Court’s ruling on December 24, the Consortium announced its plan to challenge the decision in the Supreme Court.
