Swearing on Nawaz Sharif’s Life

Sharif went even further, invoking the name of his elder brother and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to strengthen his claim.

"I am Nawaz Sharif’s fan, his follower. Today, I swear on his blessed life that as long as I have the energy, we will work together to take Pakistan to greatness and defeat India."

He also touched upon terrorism as a major hurdle in Pakistan’s development, acknowledging that terrorist activities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan were hampering progress.

"Enemies of Pakistan, including Fitna al Khwarij, are carrying out terrorist activities, and our security forces are making sacrifices. We must acknowledge and honor them," he said, as quoted by Dawn News.

Netizens Troll Shehbaz Sharif’s ‘Name Pledge’

While Sharif’s speech was meant to boost national morale, it was met with mockery on social media, particularly from Indian users, who found his claims unrealistic and exaggerated.
