If you want to work in State Bank of India, then this news is useful for you. SBI recently released a notification for recruitment to 600 PO posts, for which the registration cum application process has started from today i.e. 27 December. In such a situation, candidates who want to apply for these Probationary Officer posts can do so by visiting the official website sbi.co.in.

Through this recruitment drive, 600 Probationary Officer posts will be filled in SBI, out of which 586 posts will be regular and 14 will be backlog vacancies.

Important Date

  • Online registration date- 27 December to 12 January
  • Admit card release date for prelims - 3rd and 4th week of February
  • Phase-1 exam (online pre-exam) date - 8 March to 15 March
  • Prelims Result – in April
  • Admit card for mains exam – second week of April
  • Mains exam date- April or May
  • Mains Result- May or June
  • Admit card for Phase 3 – May or June
  • Interview and group exercises- May or June
  • Final Result- May or June
  • Admit card for pre-exam training for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD – January or February
  • Pre-Exam Training for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD – February

Age Limit

The age of the candidates should not be less than 21 years and not more than 30 years as on 1st April, 2024. This means that the candidates should not have been born after 1st April, 2003 and before 2nd April, 1994 (both days inclusive).

Qualification

Applicants must have a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

Also those who are in the final year or semester of their graduation can also apply. If they are called for interview, they will have to produce a certificate that they have passed graduation on or before April 30, 2025.

Candidates having Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) certificate must ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before April 30, 2025.

Professional qualifications like Medical, Engineering, Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant are also accepted.

SBI PO 2024: How to apply

  • First of all go to the official website sbi.co.in.
  • Then visit the career portal and go to the 'Current Openings' section under 'Join SBI'.
  • After that click on the Probationary Officers Recruitment page and then click on the link to apply online.
  • Now click for new registration and complete the registration process.
  • Then log in to your account and fill the application form.
  • After that upload the documents and pay the exam fees.
  • Finally submit your form and save a copy for later use.

Application Fee

SBI PO 2024 application fee is ₹750 for unreserved, EWS and OBC candidates. There is no application fee for SC, ST and PwBD candidates. For more details related to this recruitment, see the notification below.
