According to the weather department, the wind speed will increase in Delhi during the afternoon. The wind speed is likely to be 14-18 km per hour during this time. The wind speed is likely to decrease to 8 km per hour by evening. Today, the minimum temperature is likely to be 8 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is likely to be 17 degrees Celsius.

Weather of other states including UP

In about 50 districts of Uttar Pradesh, the maximum temperature has dropped by more than 5 degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of severe cold in UP even today. During this, the minimum temperature was recorded at 13 degrees Celsius. Let us tell you that there is a possibility of cloudy weather in UP today. At the same time, the maximum temperature of the day is likely to remain between 15 degrees Celsius. Talking about the weather of Haryana and Punjab, cold wave continues in both the states. The temperature in both the states remains below normal. Weather of Kashmir and Jharkhand

The minimum temperature in Gulmarg, Kashmir was recorded at 11.5 degrees Celsius below zero. The weather department has predicted light to moderate snowfall on the occasion of New Year. According to the department, light snowfall is likely at some places on January 1 and 2 due to the passing of Western disturbance. Heavy snowfall is expected at different places between January 4 and 6. If we talk about Jharkhand, the temperature is expected to fall by three to five degrees Celsius within the next two days. Cold winds are likely to blow in the state on the occasion of New Year.
