If you are preparing for UPPSC then this news is useful for you. Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission i.e. UPPSC has released recruitment for Combined State Engineering Service (General/Special Recruitment) Examination – 2024, for which applications are starting from today. Candidates who want to apply for these engineer and other posts can do so through the official website of UPPSC uppsc.up.nic.in.
Let us inform you that 604 posts will be recruited under this recruitment drive. The registration process has started and now it will end on 17 January 2024. Read below for eligibility, the selection process, and other details related to it.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should be 21 years of age and not more than 40 years as of 01 July 2024, i.e. they should not have been born before 02 July 1984 and after 01 July 2003. Male candidates who are married and have more than one wife alive and female candidates who are married to a person who already has a wife will not be eligible unless this condition is exempted by the Hon'ble Governor.
In these recruitments, different educational qualifications have been required for different posts, information of which can be obtained from the detailed notification available below.
selection process
The selection process in this recruitment includes a prelims exam, mains exam, and interview. In such a situation, only those candidates who pass the prelims will be allowed to sit in the mains exam. After this, only those candidates will be called for the interview who have been declared successful in the mains exam.
Remember that all original certificates will be verified at the time of interview. Candidates will also have to produce four passport-size photographs at the time of the interview, two of which will be unattested and two will be attested by their department head or the head of the institute where they last received their education or by a gazetted officer.
How much will the fee be?
The application fee for Unreserved/Economically Weaker Section/OBC is ₹125/-, the application fee for SC/ST category candidates is ₹65/- and for Persons with Disabilities the application fee is ₹25/-.
