The candidates who appeared in the UGC NET 2024 exam are eagerly waiting for their exam results. In such a situation, the results can be released soon by the National Testing Agency. However, there is no official update from NTA yet regarding the release of the results of the UGC NET 2024 exam, and when and at what time they will be declared. How can you check UGC NET 2024 results?

After the result is released, candidates will be able to check their UGC NET Exam 2024 results through the steps given below. 

• First of all, candidates should visit the official website of UGC NET.
• After this, on the home page, the candidates should click on the link 'UGC-NET Result 2024'.
• Then the candidate has to fill in the details like his application number and date of birth.
• Now after filling all the details in the designated place, candidates need to click on the 'Submit' button.
• By doing this, your result will open on the screen. 
• Finally, download it and keep a printout.

This year, the UGC NET June re-exam was held on August 21, 22, 23, 27, 28, 29, 30, and September 2, 3, 4, and 5 at various exam centers. Earlier these exams were scheduled to be held on June 18 but were later postponed due to leaks on the darknet. 

How many marks are needed to pass

Unreserved category candidates must score a minimum of 40% marks, while reserved category candidates must score at least 35% marks. In Paper 1, unreserved category candidates must score 40 out of 100 marks, while reserved category candidates must score 35 out of 100. In Paper 2, unreserved category candidates must score a minimum of 65 to 70 marks, SC candidates must score 60 to 65 marks, and ST candidates must score 55 to 60 marks.
