• Uttar Pradesh: Schools in Uttar Pradesh are closed for fifteen days due to severe cold. According to the order issued by the Education Department, schools in the state are closed for 15 days from December 31, 2024. Schools will reopen from January 15.
• Delhi: Delhi schools are closed for 15 days from January 1 to 15. Schools will reopen on January 16.
• Punjab: The government in Punjab has extended the holidays due to cold wave conditions. Now, schools in Punjab will have winter vacations till January 7. Let us tell you that earlier the schools here were going to reopen on January 1.
• Rajasthan: Schools in Rajasthan will remain closed till January 5. However, these holidays may be extended due to the severe cold. Parents and students have been advised to stay connected with the official authorities.
• Haryana: Schools in Haryana will remain closed till January 15. Jharkhand and Madhya Pradesh: Government schools in Jharkhand will reopen on January 6, while schools in Madhya Pradesh will reopen on January 5. 
• Jammu and Kashmir: Schools from classes 5 to 12 in Jammu and Kashmir will remain closed till February 28. 
• Bihar: Schools from classes 1 to 12 in Bihar will remain closed between December 25 and 31.
